I am an avid outdoorsman with a strong connection to the water that ensures the survival of the beautiful places I love to explore.
I’ve always thought that at some point I would transition my career to activism. Recent circumstances have made it clear to me that now is the time for action and I see the RATS program as an excellent starting point for a future of advocacy.
As part of the RATS cohort I hope to refine my voice as an advocate with the ability to communicate efficiently and knowledgeably to scientists, policymakers and voters.
